Erik ran his very first 5K at the age of 11 and was hooked on the sport of running ever since. Erik ran at Potomac Senior high school in Woodbridge VA and was on the Varsity Cross Country and Track team from Freshman year to his Senior year in 2001. Erik took his talents to Mount Olive College where he led the Trojans to its first ever Nationals Championship in any sport. Erik was Freshman of the year in the CVAC Conference and made the All-Region team in 2002. Erik Transferred to Radford University in 2003 and took a few years off from running. Now Erik is back to his roots and competing again. Erik loves to play Golf, find new tunnel bangers to run to, and make people laugh.
Erik has a birth mark that reads “Gods gift” on his back… and yes, it’s spelled incorrectly.
